When he was 4, the young ham performed skits and sang made-up songs for his large family, which includes four brothers and a sister. At age 15, a high school football injury landed him in a hospital, where a nurse encouraged him to pursue a modeling career. Two years later, Murray won a scholarship from a modeling agency in Buffalo to attend a modeling convention in Orlando. There, an agent spotted him and brought him to Los Angeles.

Lee Norris has been a familiar face to audiences since the age of nine. He made his television debut as a series regular on the NBC sitcom The Torkelsons, and followed up with Almost Hom (NBC) shortly after. A year later, Norris landed yet another series regular role on the first season of the ABC hit sitcom Boy Meets World, quickly becoming a fan favorite as "Stuart Minkus." He has guest starred on numerous TV shows including Touched By An Angel (CBS) and Dawson's Creek (The WB). Among a string of successful television movies, Norris most notably won a coveted role in Goldie Hawn's directorial debut for TNT in the original drama HOPE.
